00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:16.395
Welcome to the AGCRA award nomination walkthrough. This demonstration uses fictional training records. You will see how to prepare a Robert L. Manning nomination, check Horatio Gates requirements, enter an eligible non-member, and track the nomination after submission.

2
00:00:17.145 --> 00:00:34.504
Start with the nominee. For RLM and member Horatio Gates awards, search the AGCRA membership database and select the correct person. Confirm the chapter and email shown on the selected record. If the member is inactive or does not have a linked sign-in account, resolve that before continuing.

3
00:00:35.254 --> 00:00:53.147
For the Robert L. Manning Achievement Medal, enter the branch, component, exact certificate name, and a specific service narrative. Explain what the nominee did and the result. The AGCRA contribution section is optional for RLM, but include relevant chapter service when it strengthens the record.

4
00:00:53.897 --> 00:01:12.654
Next, enter the planned presentation date, state whether an exception to policy is required, and provide the medal shipping address. Use the designated Chapter point of contact unless the chapter is virtual. Notice that RLM cannot be downgraded, so the form correctly displays not applicable for downgrade consent.

5
00:01:13.404 --> 00:01:37.989
Horatio Gates nominations require more checks. Gold normally requires a previous Bronze, and Lifetime Gold requires a previous Gold. Confirm the applicable elapsed-time rule in the current award criteria. Then write two distinct narratives: one for Army or Adjutant General Corps service, and one for AGCRA or chapter contributions. If an exception is needed, mark E T P yes and explain why.

6
00:01:38.739 --> 00:01:58.109
Manual name entry is limited to the Horatio Gates Honorary Medal and the Teri Maude Debra Strickland spouse award, because AGCRA membership is not required for those workflows. Select the award first, choose non-member when offered, and carefully enter the nominee's name, honorific, contact details, and organization.

7
00:01:58.859 --> 00:02:16.213
After a successful submission, AGCRA sends the recommender a confirmation email containing a private status link. Keep that email. The link is tied to your signed-in account, and it shows only the progress intended for the recommender. Internal review comments and voting details remain private.

8
00:02:16.963 --> 00:02:33.372
Open the private link while signed in to see the current stage and status history. When fulfillment begins, this page can also show the carrier and tracking number. This gives the recommender a useful progress view without exposing internal notes, reviewer identities, or voting information.

9
00:02:34.122 --> 00:02:45.525
When the medal ships, return to the same private page to find the carrier, tracking number, and shipment date. You do not need access to the internal awards tracker to follow these fulfillment details.

10
00:02:46.275 --> 00:03:05.869
After approval, payment and shipment coordination goes to the designated Chapter point of contact. The Chapter P O C receives the private payment information and confirms the shipping details. The recommender continues to use the status page for visible progress. You can reopen this walkthrough at any time from the AGCRA Awards page.
