SPC Christian J. Colon, AG Soldier with the 626th QM Field Feeding Company, 17th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion (CSSB), Fort Wainwright, Alaska, won the 11th Airborne Division Soldier of the Year competition.
The historic 11th Airborne Division rejoined the Army’s active rolls earlier this year. With a focus on operations in extreme cold weather and high altitudes, the Division was reactivated June 6, 2002 during ceremonies at Alaska’s Fort Wainwright and Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.
