The message announces a revision to ASPDO Procedural Guide #1, Procedures for Awarding the Space Badge. c. MILPER MESSAGE 19-057, SUSPENSION RESCINDED ON PROCESSING BASIC SPACE BADGE REQUESTS, ISSUED: [2/19/2019 1:08:11 PM]. This message provides notification that the temporary suspension on Basic Space Badge processing announced in MILPER Message 18-322 has been rescinded.  The comprehensive review of space-related billets is complete.  Commanders were afforded the opportunity to confirm that billets under their authority were actually performing one of the key Space Operations missions in order to validate continued billet eligibility.  Units have been notified whether their billets have been validated or removed from the list of billets eligible to be awarded the space badge.  https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-583809

AG School Credentialing Program is Open for Enrollment

The Adjutant General School (AGS) is pleased to announce open enrollment for the FY 19 Spring, AG School Credentialing Program.  Qualified Soldiers, from all components, may apply for this opportunity to participate in the credentialing program.

The purpose of the credentialing program is to provide professional self-development opportunities to impact Army HR and Music through education of AG Soldiers, as well as improve Soldiers’ private sector marketability during transition from the military.  The program is being expanded to include a wider range of credentials that can positively affect AG Soldiers during their lifecycle.  Additionally, credentialing opportunities are now available to CMF/AOC 42 Army Musicians.

All preparatory courseware and examination fees are funded by the AG school.  Expenses incurred by the student outside of the provided courseware and examination fee cannot be reimbursed by the AG School.  Selected Soldiers must meet established preparatory timelines and be able to work independently with little to no assistance.  There is no TDY involved.

The program currently includes the following:

  • Human Resources Credentialing:
    Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR)
    Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
    Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
  • aPHR, PHR and SPHR open to 42A, 420A, 42B/H only
  • Project Management Credentialing
    Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
    Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • CAPM, PMP and MOS open to 42A/R/S, 420A/C, 42H/C

Deadline for completed applications is 15 March 2019.

1. CENTER FOR ARMY LESSONS LEARNED (CALL) SURVEY FOR JUNIOR LEADERSHIP. From CALL: CALL has created a survey to gather information and data on Section/Squad level leadership. We are looking for Soldiers in the rank of SSG-CSM from all components to complete this survey. The answers will be used to produce a Handbook for Tactical (SGT-SSG) Leaders. The survey has seven questions and only takes a few minutes to complete.
