Update, 3 April 2020

1. GROOMING STANDARDS DURING THE COVID-19 CRISIS.  From Sergeant Major of the Army (SMA) Michael A. Grinston:  “We continue to rely on and trust the judgement of our leaders throughout the Army to protect the health of the force at their installations. Grooming standards are an important part of good order and discipline in the Army, though at the end of the day, we need to make sure we’re doing what we can to keep our people safe. Just like with readiness and protecting the force, it’s not an easy balance to strike. There isn’t a one-size-fits all solution. We have to be agile, and I know we have the right leaders in the right places to make these tough decisions. At the Department of the Army level, we’re constantly assessing the situation and refining guidance to the force. It’s going to take the whole Army working together and adapting as we go, but we will kill the virus.” https://www.milsuite.mil/book/message/851785
