AG Corps Hall of Fame & DMOR Program for 2016

1. On behalf of COL Jack L. Usrey, Chief of the AG Corps, I am proud to announce the opening of AG Corps Hall of Fame (HOF) and Distinguished Member of the Regiment (DMOR) nominations for the Class of 2016. Our AG Corps HOF and DMOR MOI is attached with details on how to submit a HOF or DMOR nomination. Respectfully request dissemination of our MOI throughout your respective commands / organizations / agencies.

2. For 2016 we have also added a new HOF Veterans category. Highlights of the HOF Veterans category can be found in paragraphs 4c and 6b of our MOI and as follows:

a. New this year is the HOF Veterans category. It is established to recognize AG Corps Soldiers and Civilian employees who are retired for 15 years or greater from the Army or DOD and have made positive, lasting and significant contributions to the AG Corps which truly perpetuate the history and traditions of the Corps.

b. The Chief of the Corps is the approval authority for HOF Veteran selections. The Chief of the Corps will convene a HOF Veterans Panel comprised of AG Corps HOF members to provide recommendations on HOF Veteran selections.

c. Like all inductees, HOF Veteran selects are automatically recognized as an AG Corps DMOR, if not already one.

3. Additionally, please note the following:

a. HOF and DMOR nominations are due 21 December 2015.

b. Nomination templates are found within the attached MOI.

4. HOF and DMOR selectees will be recognized at the AG Corps HOF and DMOR induction ceremony and National AG Ball, both of which are currently scheduled for 3 June 2016 at Fort Jackson and Columbia, SC, respectively. All HOF and DMOR inductees will also be recognized within the AG School’s Hall of Honor.

ADJUTANT GENERAL’S CORPS REGIMENTAL ASSOCIATION (AGCRA) NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL (NEC) VACANCIES

The AGCRA NEC announces the following Council vacancies below.  If you are interested in serving as a NEC member please send your nomination or information on interested persons to COL (Ret) Bob Ortiz, AGCRA VP Publications and Adjutant, robert.ortiz-abreu.ctr@mail.mil, (803) 751-8305 (DSN734) NLT 26 June 2016.

1.  Vice President for History.  Responsibilities:

a.  Incumbent can execute from any location in CONUS.
b.  Coordinates the overall effort to locate, obtain, and display artifacts and other memorabilia to commemorate the Corps’ history.
c.  Prepares and updates a written history of the Corps for use by members and the general public.
d.  Performs other duties as assigned by the President and the National Executive Council.

2.  Vice President for Information Technology and Strategic Communications.  Responsibilities:

a.  Incumbent can execute from any location in CONUS.
b.  Per guidance from the President or National Executive Council, plans, coordinates, prepares and / or executes IT and strategic communications for the Association.
c.  Has oversight responsibility for the Association’s website at www.AGCRA.com.  Includes website improvements, changes and revisions, and coordination with the Association’s webmaster(s).
d.  Coordinates communication efforts with the National Executive Council’s Vice Presidents and efforts with their respective programs.
e.  Plans, coordinates, supports and / or executes linkages between the Association, AG School and Chapter websites, and any other website that supports the aims and goals of the Association.

3.  Vice President for Sales and Marketing.  Responsibilities:

a.  Sutler Store (Incumbent must be located on Fort Jackson in Bldg 10000 to operate the Sutler Store):

(1)  Operates the Sutler Store located at SSI / AGS, Fort Jackson, SC.  Processes orders received in-house, from the on-line Sutler Store website, and by phone.  Provides oversight for all coordination and necessary actions to ensure efficient operations of Sutler Store sales.
(2)  Responsible for the packaging and shipping of Sutler Store orders received in-house, from the on-line Sutler Store website, and by phone.
(3)  Conducts monthly inventories of all Sutler Store merchandise, including AGCRA display locations (i.e., AGS; Carolina Chapter AGCRA; NCOA; and HRC).
(4)  Conducts Sutler Store merchandise briefings for new AG School classes, to include CP50 and Pre-Command Courses; processes group orders as received.
(5)  Maintains inventory level of all Sutler Store merchandise, and recommends new merchandise for procurement to the National Executive Council (NEC), as applicable.
(6)  Maintains and distributes Sutler Store price list as price or merchandise updates occur.
(7)  Oversees sales operations, collects and secures funds, and provides monthly sales data / merchandise inventory worksheet and monies to the NEC Treasurer in a timely manner.
(8)  Responsible for packaging Sutler Store gift bags for each Hall of Fame (HOF) inductee during the annual AG Corps Regimental HOF ceremony.

b.  AG Corps Print / Giclee Sales (Incumbent must be located on Fort Jackson in Bldg 10000):

(1)  Processes AG Corps Print / Giclee orders received from the AGCRA website, in-house, and by phone.  Provides oversight for all coordination and necessary actions to ensure efficient operations of AG Corps Print / Giclee sales.
(2)  Maintains AG Corps Print accountability and conducts monthly inventories.  (Note:  AG Corps Giclees are maintained at Mort Kunstler’s location; however, accountability is maintained by the AGCRA VP for Sales and Marketing).
(3)  Maintains master roster of available AG Corps Print / Giclee numbers.
(4)  Conducts AG Corps Print / Giclee briefings for new AG School classes, to include CP50 and Pre-Command Courses; processes Print / Giclee orders as received.
(5)  Submits all AG Corps Giclee orders to Mort Kunstler, Inc., for processing.  Ensures orders are fully processed, to include tracking of shipment to customers.
(6)  Responsible for shipping AG Corps Prints using the local Fort Jackson UPS Store.  (Note:  The Fort Jackson UPS Store maintains a stock of custom-sized shipping containers specifically for the AG Corps Prints.  The container and packaging material helps to ensure prints are not damaged during shipping.  Insurance must be purchased for each print when shipping.)
(7)  Responsible for forwarding e-mail UPS shipping and tracking notifications to customers when received from UPS.
(8)  Processes monthly AG Corps Print / Giclee sales data (print inventory worksheet) to Mort Kunstler, Inc., for invoicing.  Ensures monthly payment is forwarded to Mort Kunstler, Inc., for Print / Giclee sale royalties.
(9)  Oversees sales operations, collects and secures funds, and provides monthly sales data / print inventory worksheet and monies to the NEC Treasurer in a timely manner.

c.  Performs other duties as assigned by the President or NEC.
