The Lightning Bolt Chapter is located in Tampa, Florida and encompasses members from US Central Command (USCENTCOM) and Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and the surrounding area.  Symbolically, lightning, or “fire from the heavens,” is a flash which appears to come out of nowhere in order to instantly awaken new thoughts and ideas within us.  According to for US cities with more than half a million people, Tampa, Florida ranks #1 as the city with the most lightning strikes.
