Thanks for your interest in reactivating an AGCRA Chapter.
If you want to reactivate an inactive Chapter you’ll need to do the following:
2. Determine if the Chapter ever created a Chapter Constitution and Bylaws, or Addendum to the Association’s Constitution and Bylaws. If not, you can use the Association’s governing documents (AGCRA Constitution and Bylaws until the Chapter creates its own.
3. Also attached are the Chapter Guidelines to assist you with the reactivation efforts. Note – since the Chapter is currently in an inactive status, you’d only have to submit the Chapter Officer POC roster, and the Chapter’s projected 12 month calendar of upcoming quarterly activities (e.g., Chapter breakfast or lunch, guest speaker events, fun runs, fund raisers, etc.).
4. If you plan to reactivate the Chapter on a military installation, you will need to check with your installation MWR Office to see what they require to operate as a non-profit organization on the installation, particularly if you’re going to conduct fund raising events (e.g., the MWR Office does not want your Chapter to intentionally compete with the PX, Commissary, and other installation MWR activities).
