AGCRA is executing its next Fitness Challenge to complete a 177.5 mile virtual race by either running or walking.
The distance commemorates the year the Army appointed its first Adjutant General, BG Horatio Gates. We will not be repeating this particular theme as a future race so the award medal for this event can be considered a collector’s item from AGCRA.
Even better news – for this race AGCRA Chapters will now receive a monetary pledge from each participant’s registration so long as their Chapter is selected during registration. Yes! The race registration form will have a drop-down menu for participants to select their Chapter. The best part is you don’t need to be affiliated with an AGCRA Chapter to support this fundraiser. The more each Chapter recruits participants, the higher the monetary benefit is for each Chapter treasury.
This race is a virtual race. Participants must register through www.runfierce.com to secure their AGCRA medal once they complete the 177.5 miles. Run Fierce provides an easy and user-friendly method to get registered. Look for the AGCRA medal above, click the image or link and follow the registration steps. Participants must pay a race fee as part of their registration.

Like AGCRA did with the WO Centennial Race in 2018, this virtual race will support the AGCRA Scholarship Program and other national level events as directed by the AGCRA National Executive Council.
So Runners and Walkers – stay fit, don’t stop, don’t quit, and let’s get those calves ready to do 177.5 miles!!
