1. NEW US ARMY SOLDIER FOR LIFE WEBSITE. From Army G-1:  U.S. Army Soldier for Life has launched its newly redesigned website. The purpose of the redesign was to provide an easier layout for Army Soldiers, Retired Soldiers, Veterans, Spouses, Employers and Educators to find information they need. Everything from how to start transitioning out of the Army, to how to start retirement, job fairs, resume support and higher education opportunities. 2. ARCAM PROCESSING DIFFICULTY POLL. 4. X FLAG ANALYSIS- INCORRECT USE. From HRC Flags: Still need some assistance with cleaning up the improper use of X flags. AR 600-8-2 is currently under major revision.  One of the major changes is that the “X” flag will be split up into six new specific flag codes.  Cleaning up the unit flag reports now will assist the units in reassigning to the proper specific flag code upon the regulation change effective date. The ‘X” flag will be removed from both the systems of record and the all new DA Form 268 upon publication. 5. THE 3D U.S. INFANTRY REGIMENT (THE OLD GUARD) IS SEEKING HIGHLY MOTIVATED ACTIVE DUTY OFFICERS FOR THE 20-02 MANNING CYCLE. Located at Joint Base Myer Henderson-Hall in Arlington, Virginia, The Old Guard is the oldest active Infantry Regiment in the U.S. Army. The unit serves as the Official Escort to the President of the United States and is our nation’s premier Memorial Affairs and Ceremonial Unit. In addition, The Old Guard is charged with the defense of the National Capital region. Application suspense for the 20-02 (April-September 2020) manning cycle is 30 September 2019. 7. ARMY RESERVE PAY MESSAGE 19-20, FISCAL YEAR 2019 DRILL LIMITS. This message reminds units that with the end of FY 19 fast approaching Commanders must ensure that Soldiers are not permitted to perform Inactive Duty Training that would cause them to exceed FY limits. Soldiers are responsible for ensuring that they do not perform BAs, or other types of drills, that exceed the FY limit for the drill. Soldiers must review their Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) and be aware of their level of drill performance. 1. MYARMYBENEFITS – AER OFFERS $2,500 RE-LICENSING AID FOR SPOUSES. Army Spouses can now apply for reimbursement of up to $2,500 in professional re-licensing expenses through Army Emergency Relief when they move to another state. Last month, top Army officials announced a $500 limit on re-licensing costs for military Spouses for permanent change-of-station moves. However, if additional funds are needed for re-licensing, AER will help offset those costs for eligible Spouses. 2. COHORT 2021 DEFENSE COMPTROLLERSHIP PROGRAM (DCP): APPLICATION SUSPENSE EXTENDED TO 4 OCTOBER 2019. The Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller  (ASA (FM&C)), Comptroller Proponency Office is now accepting applications  for the Cohort 2021 Defense Comptrollership Program (DCP) NLT 4 October 2019.
