1. PARENTAL LEAVE PROGRAM POLICY UPDATE. From the US Army Leaves & Passes Action Officer: Directive-type Memorandum (DTM) 23-001 – “Expansion of the Military Parental Leave Program” (attached at the following link) was published on 4 JAN 2023. Soldiers cannot exercise authorizations in DTM 23-001 until HQDA publishes Army policy with appropriately detailed request processes. 2. CLARIFICATION OF PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS FOR FAMILY MEMBERS ACCOMPANYING THEIR SOLDIERS TO GERMANY. 3. iPERMS MAINTENANCE. The Interactive Personnel Electronic Records Management System (iPERMS) will be performing system maintenance starting at 1000 on 21 January 2023 (Eastern Time) through 1800 on 22 January 2023 (Eastern Time). 4. IPPS-A “A DAY IN THE LIFE” WEBINAR SERIES – UNIT LEVEL CRM DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- UNIT LEVEL CRM TASKS – 11 JAN 2023. Attached at the following link is the CONOP for the IPPS-A “A Day in the Life” Webinar Series on Unit Level CRM Duties and Responsibilities- Unit Level CRM Tasks. The FMD Training Team will be conducting two sessions on 11 JAN 2023 at 1100 ET and 1900 ET. Session will cover how to create parent/child and favorite PG relationships in CRM so HR Agents can quickly route/escalate cases. Session will also cover the tabs, tools, and requirements to close or escalate a case to include modification of CTD, searching solution library, picking a PG or person to reassign a case to.
