2. AG SCHOOL CREDENTIALING PROGRAM IS OPEN FOR ENROLLMENT. The Adjutant General School (AGS) is pleased to announce open enrollment for the FY19 Spring, AG School Credentialing Program.  The purpose of the credentialing program is to provide professional self-development opportunities to impact Army HR and Music through education of AG Soldiers, as well as improve Soldiers’ private sector marketability during transition from the military. a. 82D AIRBORNE DIVISION G1 TEAM RECOGNIZES SIX HR PARATROOPERS OF THE QUARTER, 29 JAN 19. On 29 January 2019, the 82D Airborne Division G1 hosted Brigade and Battalion S1 OICs, NCOICs, and Paratroopers in the quarterly G1/S1 Sync. LTC Lefebvre and SGM Bradford, the Division G1 and G1 SGM, began the event by recognizing one 42A Paratrooper per Brigade with a Certificate of Appreciation and a Division G1 Coin. This quarter’s sync focused on Human Resources related topics of interest across the division. Outstanding Paratroopers recognized for their hard work during the three months leading up to the quarterly meeting are SGT Raman Dhillon (DIVARTY – Cannon Balls), SPC Dave Ramos (82D SUS BDE – Providers), SGT Charrelle Simmons (82D CAB – Pegasus’), SPC Alejandro Lopez (3rd BCT – Panthers), SPC Charles Roy Rosete (2nd BCT – Falcons), and PFC Michael Logiudice (1st BCT – Devils). b. AG UNIVERSITY (IPPS-A DEMO) FORT MYER, VA. The 1st Battalion, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) S1 is hosting AG University at the Joe Rosenthal Theater on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall on 28 Feb 19, 0900-1130. A team from Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A) will be conducting an overview briefing and demonstration. There will be a Q&A session as time permits. a. ARMY DIRECTIVE 2019-02, VOLUNTARY INACTIVE DUTY TRAINING, 22 JAN 19. This directive clarifies Army policy for U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) IMA detachments and prescribes voluntary inactive duty training for all qualifying USAR Soldiers. This directive applies only to USAR Soldiers. c. ALARACT 009/2019, 2019 GAINEY CUP – BEST SCOUT SQUAD COMPETITION, DTG: R 311447Z JAN 19. On behalf of MG Brito, Commander, U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence, the U.S. Army Armor School would like to extend an invitation to units to participate in the 2019 Gainey Cup: Best Scout Squad Competition, which will take place from 29 April 2019 to 03 May 2019 at Fort Benning, Georgia. The Director for Manpower and Personnel, The Joint Staff has announced that award of the Humanitarian Service Medal (HSM) is approved for those personnel who were physically present in the vicinity of the Chiang Rai Region, Thailand and provided humanitarian assistance during the Tham Luang Nang Non Cave rescue operation from 26 June 2018 to 14 July 2018.
