1. MAXIMIZE THE POWER OF AIM2 KSB-PS FOR YOUR RESUME. From the Army Talent Management Task Force:  UPDATE: the new KSB list was scheduled to be posted on 28 AUGUST 2020. Due to technical delays within AIM2, the list will not be published until we are sure it will be successfully uploaded into AIM2. The lists currently on this page (following link) are the most up to date information within AIM2. Please be on the lookout for the new lists and structures in the coming weeks. Updates will be posted at this link if future delays are identified.

2. HQDA MISINFORMATION AND DISINFORMATION TIGER TEAM (FOUO). From Army G-3/5/7, DAMO-SO:  HQDA DAMO-Strategic Operations is the lead planner for support to a G-3/5/7 task to DAMO-SO, ARCYBER and OCPA to develop tools and education to address malign mis/disinformation and its impact to the Army mission.  On 20 AUG, an AMHS message (attached at the following link) was pushed Army-wide to identify leads from organizations with equites in this problem set.  NLT 5 SEP, request contact info be provided for an SME from impacted organizations (identified in para 5.C. of attached message) to attend the HQDA led sessions on 11 and 18 SEP.  Impacted organizations should review the 20 AUG AMHS message and complete Annex A attached. Once complete forward the completed Annex A to , the HQDA Strategic Narrative OPT mailbox.

3. eMILPO ENHANCED PERSONNEL RECORDS REVIEW (E-PRR). From the IPPS-A Team: The Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A) release three (R3) unites Army Personnel Data from the Active, Army National Guard, and Army Reserve into one system. IPPS-A will subsume data from eMILPO and other systems so that Soldiers and units can continue operations in the new system seamlessly. To ensure that only the most up-to-date and correct data is subsumed into IPPS-A, we need Soldiers and Unit S1s to start looking at updating and correcting data now using current systems. This guide has been produced to show the Soldier how to conduct self-service checks and gives instructions on how unit S1s can successfully conduct an Enhanced Personnel Records Review (E-PRR).

4. ARMY RESERVE PAY MESSAGE 20-29,  CHANGE TO PROCESSING FAMILY SEPARATION ALLOWANCE (FSA) FOR MOBILIZED SOLDIERS. This message changes processing procedures for Soldiers authorized FSA while mobilized.  Effective 28 Aug 20, the ability to initiate FSA via the RLAS RM RADARS Mobilization Module is terminated.

5. iPERMS MAINTENANCE AND NEW FUNCTIONALITY. iPERMS is scheduled for iPERMS 2.2.1 release on Saturday August 29th, 2020. The iPERMS application will not be available during this time.  This release will provide new functionality that includes the following: save and load report search criteria, new scan operator report that lists documents in the batch, updated DD93 report to reflect date last Soldier signed review was conducted, and initiating a problem case within the record review tool by selecting the document comment dropdown. a. 2020 VIRTUAL MANEUVER WARFIGHTING CONFERENCE. From the Maneuver Center of Excellence: The 2020 Maneuver Warfighting Conference will occur virtually this year on 9-10 September. Registration is open at the following link. The Conference theme is “Delivering Lethality and World Class Leadership”. This forum is open to military, civilians, contractors and international personnel. All wishing to view the conference must preregister in advance.

b. SPECIAL MISSION UNIT (SMU) – FT. BRAGG- 42A20/42A30/42A40- ACTIVE DUTY NCOS ONLY. Ft. Bragg Special Missions Unit is looking for highly motivated Active Duty NCOs in the rank of SGT, SSG, SFC 42As to fill a unique assignment. This is a Special Operations assignment with career advancement for BN/BDE S1, 1SG, and SGM positions. Volunteers will also receive up to $375 in Special Duty Assignment Pay monthly, opportunities for advanced schooling (Airborne, Air Assault, SERE, etc), 90-120 day deployments, Unit specific re-enlistment bonuses, assignment stabilization, and will receive a civilian clothing allowance as you are required to wear civvies on a day to day basis.

c. 99TH RD FAMILY PROGRAMS TUESDAY TALKS – SEPTEMBER 2020. The 99th RD Family Programs Team presents: Tuesday Talks – a bi-weekly program where Soldiers, Family Members, and Civilians can get information and resources, as well as tips and tricks for navigating life through the COVID-19 pandemic and Army Reserve life in general. Sessions are hosted via the All Partners Access Network (APAN) and Adobe Connect on alternating Tuesday evenings from 1900-2000 EST. The topic for 1 September, just in time for the new school year, is “Online Tutoring”. The topic for 15 September is a repeat of a popular recent program, “The 5 Love Languages of Children”, led by Chaplain Usher.

a. MILITARY PAY E-MESSAGE 20-043, LEBANON DIRECT SUPPORT CERTIFICATION. The purpose of this message is to inform all that Lebanon direct support designation has been extended. Effective February 12, 2020, all military personnel serving in Lebanon are eligible (e.g., are in receipt of imminent danger or hostile fire pay) for all combat zone related tax benefits due to their service in direct support of military operations in the Arabian Peninsula Combat Zone, as designated by Executive Order 12744.

b. MILPER Message 20-278, Deletion of Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 68N (Cardiovascular Specialist) and MOS 68U (Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist), and Revision of (MOS) 68D (Operating Room Specialist) for the Regular Army, Issued: [8/31/2020 7:43:14 AM]. The purpose of this message is to provide notification of future change to the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 68N (Cardiovascular Specialist) and MOS 68U (Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist).  This message is effective immediately and will expire on 27 Aug 21. Effective 1 Oct 21, duties, functions, and positions currently coded as MOS 68N and MOS 68U will be deleted.  Select MOS 68U positions, duties, and functions will be transferred to MOS 68D (Operating Room Specialist); however, the Soldiers in these positions will not be reclassified to MOS 68D as part of the process outlined in this MILPER message.

9. FORSCOM WIAS POSITIONS (UPDATED A/O 26 AUGUST 2020). FORSCOM is recruiting for 1x critical positions (Compo 1, 2, and 3; AGR, IMA, IRR, and Active Duty Soldiers authorized to source):  1x /O6.

a. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, FORSCOM is recruiting COL, Branch Immaterial, to serve CDC Regional Director/s for Operation Warp Speed, in direct support of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, Department of Health and Human Services. Officer/s will represent OWS efforts across major metropolitan cities to ensure local efforts are nested with, and supported by, the National effort. Officer will be on TDY status for 169 days.
