1. AAR: AIM2 – GETTING THE MOST OUT OF KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND BEHAVIORS AND PREFERENCES (KSB-Ps) (MER 20-02). The Army Talent Management Task Force (ATMTF) will conduct an After Action Review (AAR) for Active Component (AC) Unit Strength Managers on the AIM2 Mission Essential Requirements (MER) and leveraging KSB-Ps list as well as Army Talent Alignment Process (ATAP) on 17 & 18 Dec 19 using DCS Connect. The purpose is to solicit feedback from S1/G1/J1, and Proponent/Unit Strength Managers regarding MER 20-02 Movement Cycle in order to improve the KSB options and functionality within AIM2. 2. CHANGES TO ENLISTED DISTRIBUTION AND ASSIGNMENT SYSTEM (EDAS) STRENGTH PROJECTIONS. From HRC EPMD: Effective 05 December 2019, there will be a change in how unit enlisted strength and strength projections are made on the MQ screen in EDAS  for the PROJ (Projected  Operating Strength) and the STAT Tab in WEBEDAS.  With the exception of Soldiers identified as selected for Sergeant Major, all Soldiers will be counted at their current (hard stripe) grade across all months.  Promotable status (PRMSSE) will no longer be a factor for unit enlisted strength and strength projections. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-705865

3. SCAN OPERATORS IN THE AA DOMAIN ARE ENCOURAGED TO INDEX (ADD METADATA TO) DOCUMENTS BEING UPLOADED TO iPERMS. From the HRC iPERMS Team: Scan Operators in the AA Domain are encouraged to index (add metadata to) documents being uploaded to iPERMS. 4. ARMY SUPERIOR UNIT AWARD (ASUA), 1ST BRIGADE COMBAT TEAM, 1ST CAV DIV (AND SUPPORTING UNITS), 23 MAY 18 – 15 FEB 19. From the 1st Cavalry Division G-1:  Attached at the following link are ASUA orders for the EUCOM Deployment (23 MAY 18 – 15 FEB 19) of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cav Div (and supporting units). 5. ARMY RESERVE PAY MESSAGE 19-35, DELAY IN PAYMENT OF BONUSES QUALIFYING FOR COMBAT ZONE TAX EXCLUSION (CZTE). Bonus payments, whether lump sum or paid in installments, are exempt from Federal and State taxes if the Soldier reenlisted with a bonus while in a designated combat zone. Due to limitations of the Reserve pay system (DJMS-RC), taxes are withheld from CZTE qualified bonus payments. After payment, the USAR Pay Center (UPC) notifies DFAS to refund the taxes.
