1. CERTIFICATE ISSUES IMPACTING MILSUITE USERS. From the milSuite Team: We are aware of an issue impacting various milSuite users related to browser certificate issues and have confirmed local issues with certificates as the cause. If you or someone you know is impacted please go to the IASE site at https://iase.disa.mil/pki-pke/Pages/tools.aspx and scroll down to the Certificate Validation section. Download and run the FBCA Cross-Certificate Remover Tool 1.17. You do not need to be an admin to run this tool and it was developed to fix this specific issue. We are trying to fix the issue at a higher level, but the FBCA tool will fix the issue if you are impacted. 3. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR PROMOTION AND COMMAND REVIEW BOARDS (EXEMPLARY CONDUCT SCREENING), 1 FEB 2019. The Secretary of the Army is required to certify to the DOD and Congress that all officers nominated for appointment to higher grade meet the standard of exemplary conduct set out in 10 USC 3583.  To that end, the Army G-1 is required to conduct a post-promotion-board adverse information query, or post board screen (PBS), for all promotions to CPT thru COL, Chief Warrant Officers selected for promotion to CW3 thru CW5, and all 2LT and WO1 pending local promotion to 1LT and CW2. a. FORSCOM G-1 & S1 MARCH 2019 RECOGNITION ROLL. a. ALARACT 017/2019, REQUESTING NOMINATIONS FOR SELECTION TO ATTEND THE 2019 ARMY MEDICAL DEPARTMENT (AMEDD) IRON MAJORS WEEK (IMW), DTG: R 111419Z MAR 19. The AMEDD Iron Majors Week begins with a nomination and selection process to identify outstanding active and reserve component majors and captains promotable of the Army Medical Corps (MC), Nurse Corps (AN), Dental Corps (DC), Veterinary Corps (VC), Medical Service Corps (MS), and Specialist Corps (SP) who have displayed outstanding leadership, the ability to mentor junior officers, and who consistently demonstrate the skills, attributes, and potential needed to shape the future growth and initiatives of Army medicine. b. ALARACT 018/2019, ARMY PROTECTION PROGRAM ASSESSMENT (APPA) 2018 TREND REPORT (2015 TO 2018), DTG: R 111435Z MAR 19. Seven APPA command assessments were conducted in fiscal year 2018 (FY18) in accordance with AR 525–2. The APPAs evaluated all elements of the protection program. a. MILPER MESSAGE 19-084, FY19 ARMY EXPERIMENTAL TEST PILOT TRAINING PROGRAM SELECTION PANEL, ISSUED: [3/8/2019 1:52:06 PM]. An OPMD Selection Panel will be conducted on or about 26 Jun 19 to select both commissioned and warrant officers for the Army Experimental Test Pilot Program.  If selected, commissioned officers are automatically accessed into the Army Acquisition Corps where they serve the remainder of their careers.  Selection for the program is made on a best-qualified basis.  HRC must receive all applications NLT 15 May 19.  https://www.hrc.army.mil/Milper/19-084

c. MILPER MESSAGE 19-086, 2019 AMERICAN LEGION SPIRIT OF SERVICE AWARD (SUSPENSE: 3 JUNE 2019), ISSUED: [3/8/2019 4:11:13 PM]. The purpose of this message is to announce the 2019 American Legion Spirit of Service Award.  The award will recognize an enlisted member, E-5 and below, from each branch of the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard) for outstanding military performance and volunteer service that he/she performs off-duty in a local community.  Members of the Reserve Components are eligible for the award if recommended by his or her branch of service.
