1. MEDICAL PLANNERS’ TOOLKIT (MPTK) NEW EQUIPMENT TRAINING (NET). From the Army Capability Manager – HR (ACM-HR), AG School: Division and Corps G1s, remaining seats for Medical Planners’ Toolkit (MPTk) NET are filling up. Contact Brad Weber (brad.m.weber.ctr@mail.mil) to get your HR planners enrolled. This is a planning tool that will enable your team to provide the most reliable casualty numbers that impact your unit’s combat power; across the range of military operations.  3. ARMY COMBAT FITNESS TEST (ACFT) FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITY FORM FOR PROVIDERS.  4. UPDATE ON DELAYS IN SERVICEMEMBERS’ GROUP LIFE INSURANCE ONLINE ENROLLMENT SYSTEM (SOES) CERTIFICATE PROCESSING DUE TO NETWORK OUTAGE. From the SOES Team: Great news!  We were notified today that the backlog has been completed, so the direct feed from SOES to iPERMS is back to the normal routine of publishing SOES certificates to iPERMS at 2359 hours each day, and Soldiers should see certificates posted to iPERMS within 24 hours of making an update on SOES.  https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-721400

 5. ARNG G1 SPRING 2020 MILITARY PERSONNEL OFFICE (MILPO) ORIENTATION COURSE, 16-21 MARCH 2020. This is a reminder that the ARNG G-1’s biannual MILPO orientation course and awards workshop is quickly approaching. Covering the ARNG G-1 functions, MILPOs (both new and reappointed) will interface with ARNG G-1 Division functions, Branch chiefs, Action Officers, as well as the other ARNG Directorates. Concurrently, the two day awards training workshop will define new and updated guidance, and hands on training for Title 32 awards processing; which include expectations of quality, accuracy, and timelines for submission.       b. THE 3D U.S. INFANTRY REGIMENT (THE OLD GUARD) IS SEEKING HIGHLY MOTIVATED ACTIVE DUTY OFFICERS FOR THE 21-01 MANNING CYCLE. Located at Joint Base Myer Henderson-Hall in Arlington, Virginia, The Old Guard is the oldest active Infantry Regiment in the U.S. Army. The unit serves as the Official Escort to the President of the United States and is our nation’s premier Memorial Affairs and Ceremonial Unit. In addition, The Old Guard is charged with the defense of the National Capital region.       b. MILPER MESSAGE 20-050, ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR OFFICERS REQUESTING CONSIDERATION BY (OPT INTO) THE FY20 MAJ ACC PSB, ISSUED: [2/11/2020 10:33:17 AM]. This MILPER message describes a significant change to officer promotions, and all officers should be aware of its content and meaning.  This change does not affect officers in the Primary or Above Zones of consideration (date of rank ranges shown below).  However, it does change the method of consideration for officers below the Primary Zone.  Under the new process, officers whose dates of rank to Captain (CPT) are later than the Primary Zone must, in all cases:  1) meet the eligibility conditions described in the message and 2) request consideration.  Said another way, officers are no longer automatically considered for “Below Zone” promotion. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-732477
