Update, 13 October 2020

1. ATHLETIC BRAS SURVEY. From Army G-1 Uniform Policy: As an increasing number of female Soldiers assume combat roles, the emphasis on the acquisition of female specific OCIE and PPE is becoming greater. On June 25, 2020, the 151st Army Uniform Board identified improving the athletic brassieres selection available to Soldiers and Trainees as a priority. Combat Capabilities Development Command Soldier Center (CCDC SC) is asking all female Soldiers to complete a 20 minute survey about athletic bras by 30 October 2020 in order to inform Army and AAFES of the requirements of female Soldiers. The survey may be accessed at We also ask all Commanders and Senior NCOs to help us distribute this survey to the largest possible number of female Soldiers to maximize our sample size for the survey and to ensure as many opinions as possible are collected. Additional information is available on S1NET at the following link.

2. DOCTRINE REVIEW OF FM 4-80 (FORMERLY FM 1-06), FINANCE AND COMPTROLLER OPERATIONS, INITIAL DRAFT. SSI Doctrine requests your review and comments on the enclosed (at following link) initial draft of FM 4-80 (Formerly FM 1-06), Finance and Comptroller Operations, no later than 25 November 2020. FM 4-80, Finance and Comptroller Operations, provides the doctrine fundamentals and principles of Army finance and comptroller support. This effort is a major revision of the current FM 1-06 as it describes how to provide finance and comptroller support to the Army during large scale combat operations and introduces fiscal stewardship, data analytics and counter threat finance core competencies.

5. ROTATING IMAGES IN iPERMS BATCHES. From Army Soldier Records Branch: Did you know that all iPERMS input roles can rotate an image in a batch so it has the proper orientation? In all input roles, the user can rotate the image within a batch using the arrows in the HTML5 toolbar. Once the rotation has the correct orientation, the user has to click the floppy disc icon in the HTML5 toolbar in order to save the manipulation of that image. Using the “Save Batch” feature from the menu bar dropdown or a keyboard shortcut to save the batch will not save the image rotation unless the floppy disc icon is selected first.
