1. TRANSITION ASSISTANCE FOR INVOLUNTARY SEPARATIONS. From Army Transition Assistance Program (TAP), U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC): All Soldiers transitioning from active duty are entitled to and required to complete Career Readiness Standards provided by the Transition Assistance Program (TAP). Soldiers pending involuntary separation, to include vaccine refusal, need to visit their local TAP center as soon as possible. Soldiers who are unable to complete all requirements prior to their separation date have an additional 180 days post transition to utilize TAP services. Soldiers located more than 50 miles from a TAP center can utilize the TAP Virtual Center, 1-800-325-4715. The purpose of the Financial Literacy Training Program is to implement policy and procedures for ensuring Soldiers receive mandated training at the required milestones and to provide Soldiers, commanders, and leaders with tools required to improve the financial readiness of the force. Before being released from the RA / USAR AGR, each Soldier will enter into a contractual agreement under which the Soldier agrees to be recalled / enlisted back to the RA / USAR AGR, as applicable) for a period of not less than two months for every month of program participation following the Soldier’s return to active duty (Soldiers entering the CIP after 26 December 2021 incur a service obligation of one month for each month of program participation). Participation in the program may not exceed three years from the date of release from the RA / USAR AGR.
