1. TAG SENDS, ARMY TAP NAME CHANGE, 17 DEC 20. Happy Holidays and a big Thank You to all of you for your continued care and support for our Soldiers, Veterans, and their Families! On 26 October 2020, the Army G-1 approved the name change of the Army’s Transition Assistance Program from the Soldier for Life – Transition Assistance Program (SFL-TAP) to the Army Transition Assistance Program (TAP). The G-1 approved this name change in order to align our program’s name with current legislation and DOD policy. From the NCOLCoE: MSGs (COMPO 2 and COMPO 3 only) and SFCs who are not MLC graduates or do not have an MLC course reservation have an excellent opportunity to complete the Master Leader Course requirement by competing for a slot to attend the Air Force Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy- Advanced Leader Experience (AFSNCOA-ALE) Course. 4. MICROSOFT CAREER SKILLS PROGRAM (CSP) FOR TRANSITIONING SOLDIERS – APPLY TODAY! From the IMCOM CSP Coordinator: The Microsoft Software and Cloud Academy (MSCA) is a full-time 17-week FREE virtual tech training program to prepare transitioning Soldiers for careers in the information technology field. Successful completion of MSCA results in a career with Microsoft and/or one of its partner employers. The MSCA offers a specialization in Cloud Application Developer or Server & Cloud Administrator. MSCA is open to transitioning Soldiers within 180-days of separation or retirement from military service who have Command approval to participate. 5. HQDA EXORD 050-21 SARS-COV-2 VACCINE DISTRIBUTION PLAN (FOUO), DTG: 152227Z DEC 20. The U.S. Government is working with private sector partners to develop and distribute Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines, and will make such vaccines available to the DOD.
