On 26 October 2020, the Army G-1 approved the name change of the Army’s Transition Assistance Program from the Soldier for Life – Transition Assistance Program (SFL-TAP) to the Army Transition Assistance Program (TAP). The G-1 approved this name change in order to align our program’s name with current legislation and DOD policy.
