2. U.S. ARMY SERGEANTS MAJOR ACADEMY FELLOWSHIP (USASMA) PROGRAM, FY20. The NCO Leadership Center of Excellence (NCOL CoE) and the U.S Army Sergeants Major Academy (USASMA) Fellowship Program is targeted for Sergeants Major who have potential and a strong desire to be an educator of future Sergeants Major. Selected candidates will pursue a Master’s Degree in Lifelong Learning and Adult Education through Pennsylvania State University (Penn State) or a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation from Syracuse University. Both degree programs are 30 semester hour online programs. The U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy Fellowship Program Selection Panel will convene 13-15 August 2019 at Fort Bliss, Texas, to establish a best qualified list to present to the Commandant, NCOL CoE for final selection of Fellows. 4. CHANGE 3, FY 19 U.S. ARMY RESERVE (USAR) SELECTED RESERVE INCENTIVES PROGRAM (SRIP) POLICY, EFFECTIVE 1 APRIL 2019. From the USARC G-1: This change 3 is effective 1 April 2019.  The TPU Reenlistment Bonus, NPS Quick Ship Option, and Officer Retention Bonus remain suspended.  The TPU/AGR MOS Conversion Bonus and AGR Reenlistment Bonus are suspended effective 1 April 2019.  New eligibility lists have been published for the Prior Service Enlistment Bonus and Enlisted Affiliation Bonus.  A new Ready Force UIC list and Puerto Rico/Virgin Islands UIC list has been published.  https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-601594

This message solicits nominations and provides procedures for nominating, selecting, and awarding of the “A” Proficiency Designator.  This designation recognizes the highest level of professional accomplishment within the Army Medical Department (AMEDD).  The AMEDD “A” proficiency designator is a professional excellence honor bestowed by the Army Surgeon General upon candidates who have attained full professional status and national prominence in their field.
