1. POST DEPLOYMENT OR MOBILIZATION RESPITE ABSENCE (PDMRA) GUIDANCE, 22 FEB 19. The purpose of this memo from the Army G-1 is to provide guidance for authorizing PDMRA which is a benefit, “not an entitlement” that is intended to provide a period of respite/nonchargeable administrative absence to Soldiers who are required to mobilize or deploy with a frequency beyond established DoD rotation policy thresholds. For Active Component (AC) Soldiers (includes Active Guard and Reserve (AGR)) the deployment to-dwell ratio is 1:2. For Reserve Component (RC) Soldiers the mobilization-to-dwell ratio of 1:5. 6. VA OFFERS OPPORTUNITIES IN ACQUISITION FOR TRANSITIONING SOLDIERS. The Department of the Veterans Affairs Warrior in the Workforce Program offers “direct hire” positions to Soldiers who qualify and are selected. 7. ARMY RESERVE PAY MESSAGE 19-08, ADDITIONAL UPDATES TO LOCATIONS WITH RESERVE PAY INPUT CAPABILITY. Table C-2 of USAR Pam 37-1 lists Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) and Army finance offices with Reserve Pay input capability.  These finance offices are responsible for providing pay support to USAR Soldiers performing active duty of 30 days or more at their location. The Defense Military Pay Office, Ft Buchanan, is no longer capable of processing Reserve Pay actions. Submit pay requests for IMA, IRR or TPU Soldiers performing active duty for 30 days or more on the Puerto Rican Islands to your USAR Pay Center team at Ft McCoy or Ft Knox.  https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-587009

a. MILPER MESSAGE 19-069, 2019 WHITE HOUSE SOCIAL AIDE PROGRAM SELECTION BOARD, ISSUED: [2/25/2019 3:21:43 PM]. The White House Social Aide Program Coordinator is accepting applications for officers interested in serving as a volunteer White House Social Aide.  Interested officers must submit their application for consideration no later than 20 March 2019. Basic eligibility criteria is single officers in the rank of 2LT (not on first duty assignment) through MAJ.  No waivers will be approved for marital status and rank. c. MILPER MESSAGE 19-071, MANDATORY DAILY ACCOUNTABILITY (DUTY STATUS REPORTING), ISSUED: [2/26/2019 10:13:06 AM]. The purpose of this message is to provide instructions to improve personnel accountability using the duty status function (Personnel Accounting Module) inside of eMILPO and announce the change to duty status reporting for leave and temporary duty (TDY). Effective immediately, duty status changes for departure on and return from leave, convalescent leave, permissive TDY, administrative absences, and TDY are mandatory.
