2. PROMOTION POINT WORKSHEET (PPW) TRAINING ASSESSMENT AND ACCESS, UPDATED 27 NOVEMBER 2018. HRC Enlisted Promotions has updated the PPW training package and request for access, and provided updated instructions.  The PPW training package was developed to assist with promotion data accuracy and promotion training in the field and to certify PPW users. 7. THE 3D U.S. INFANTRY REGIMENT (THE OLD GUARD) IS SEEKING HIGHLY MOTIVATED ACTIVE DUTY OFFICERS. Located at Joint Base Myer Henderson-Hall in Arlington, VA, The Old Guard is the oldest active Infantry Regiment in the U.S. Army. The unit serves as the Official Escort to the President of the United States and is our nation’s premier Memorial Affairs and Ceremonial Unit. In addition, The Old Guard is charged with the defense of the National Capital region. The Regiment is primarily Infantry, but opportunities exist for Adjutant General, Military Intelligence, Armor, Military Police, Chemical, Logistics (Quartermaster, Ordnance, and Transportation), Signal, Public Affairs, Chaplain, Judge Advocate, and Medical personnel. 8. SOLDIER FOR LIFE – TRANSITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM LAUNCHES NEW ONLINE MAGAZINE. a. ALARACT 094/2018, ANTITERRORISM QUARTERLY THEME – ASSESSING AND UNDERSTANDING THE TERRORIST THREAT (2Q/FY19), DTG: R 271730Z NOV 18. Antiterrorism awareness themes support readiness and care for our troops. These themes focus efforts and instill heightened awareness and vigilance, Army-wide, to prevent attacks and protect the Army community and critical resources from acts of terrorism. Antiterrorism community-awareness initiatives support sustained vigilance in our efforts to deter, detect, and prevent terrorist activities across all operations. The theme for 2Q/FY19 (January – March) is Assessing and Understanding the Terrorist Threat. This MILPER message supersedes MILPER Message 17-278, 11 September 2017.
