1. MILITARY PERSONNEL ARRIVAL DAY FOR FORT BLISS CONUS REPLACEMENT CENTER (CRC) PROCESSING. From HQDA, G-3/5/7, Current Operations and Contingency Plans Division, Mobilization Directorate: Effective 10 FEB 2019, military personnel processing at the CONUS Replacement Center, Ft Bliss, TX will commence at 0700 Sundays. Soldiers should travel on Saturday to arrive in time for processing. Soldiers with orders and travel arrangements in place that travel on Friday will be allowed to sign in but will not begin processing until Sunday. The CRC online reservation system has been updated to reflect this change.  Soldiers must select Saturday as the arrival date for new CRC reservations effective immediately. 3. MILITARY PAY TRANSITION TRAINING FOR USAR HR PROFESSIONALS. From the USARC G-8 PMD: Designated USAR HR Professionals will complete MilPay Transition training via Instructor-Led Training (ILT) or Distance Learning (DL) in preparation for assuming MilPay responsibilities with the fielding of IPPS-A. USARC is in the process of publishing an OPORD to provide guidance regarding how and when HR Professionals will receive MilPay Transition training. USARC is also working to add Reserve Component (RC) unique MilPay topics to the training. 4. ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE AVIATORS’ POST NO. 743, AMERICAN LEGION, AVIATOR VALOR AWARD. From the USAACE G-1: Annually, the Aviators’ Post No. 743 presents an Aviator Valor Award to a rated member of each of the three uniformed services who has performed an act of conspicuous valor and courage in the course of aerial flight during calendar year 2018. 5. Army Reserve Pay Messages.

a. RESERVE PAY MESSAGE 19-03 (UPDATED 6 FEB 19), PAY ACTIONS FOR GENERAL OFFICERS (GOs). Effective 4 Feb 19, the USAR Pay Center (UPC) consolidated pay processing for IMA, IRR and TPU GOs (pay grades 07 and above) under one team. This change only effects GO pay actions that are the responsibility of the UPC (Ft McCoy or Ft Knox) IAW the reference. UPC Hawaii retains responsibility for GOs assigned to the units they support. GOs on active duty for 30 days or more at a location identified in table C-2 of the reference will continue to be paid by the Defense Military Pay Office or Army Finance unit at that location.  https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-578088

c. RESERVE PAY MESSAGE 19-06, UPDATE TO LOCATIONS WITH RESERVE PAY INPUT CAPABILITY. The Defense Military Pay Office, Indianapolis, is no longer capable of processing Reserve Pay actions. Submit pay requests for IMA, IRR or TPU Soldiers performing active duty for 30 days or more at the DFAS – Indianapolis (DFAS-IN), HQs, 310th ESC, or other organizations in the proximity of DFAS-IN, to your USAR Pay Center team at Ft McCoy or Ft Knox.  https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-577882

a. 10TH MTN DIV (LI) HR UNIVERSITY – 14 FEB 19. It is time for the 10th MTN DIV monthly HRU.  This month’s classes will take place in room C134 at Clark Hall on 14 FEB 19.  We will again be hosting morning and afternoon sessions.  Topics for the month are Enlisted Promotions and Sponsorship.  We are unable to offer VTC/VTT capability from this venue.  Training is open to all HR professionals (military and DA Civilians), as well as any leadership that would like to attend.  https://www.milsuite.mil/book/message/797665

a. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR HR INFORMATION SYSTEM (HRIS). “I am looking for up to three volunteers that have the time to assist me with planning an HR Information Systems. I would like the volunteers to currently be in charge of a Brigade Combat Team S1, preferably a 42A5O. You would occasionally need to be available for video conferences, but most communication will happen via email. My plan is to build the HR Information System in MS Access initially, then I will convert it to a software with an SQL Server backend.
