2. CLARIFICATION OF THE PERIOD OF SERVICE FOR RETIREMENT AWARDS. From HRC Awards and Decorations Branch: This message is to clarify Army policy on date ranges used for the period for retirement awards.  The extended period of 10-years of service should only be considered when the length or nature of the individual’s terminal assignment would not qualify them for an appropriate award. 4. (IPPS-A) CRM KNOWLEDGE BASE SELF SERVICE. The CRM Knowledge Base is a centralized repository of information for Army HR information, policy and procedures. The information in IPPS-A is organized into libraries to assist Members in finding information quickly through Self-Service. b. ALARACT 081/2021, (2021 – 2022) INFLUENZA PREVENTION PROGRAM – SURVEILLANCE AND VACCINATION (CUI), DTG: R 071800Z OCT 21. There will likely be concurrent viral activity of influenza and COVID – 19 during the 2021 – 2022 influenza season. In this context, influenza vaccination will be very important to help reduce the overall impact of respiratory illnesses on the population and lessen the resulting burden on the healthcare system during the ongoing COVID – 19 pandemic. In accordance with CDC guidance, COVID – 19 vaccine and other vaccines, like the influenza vaccine, may be co – administered without regard to timing.
