AGCRA has a goal of touching all corners of the Army, from South Korea, Alaska, Hawaii, the Continental U.S., and Europe, to the Middle East. But why stop there, let’s take AGCRA global!
And once again they’re back as we have asked COL (Ret) Nick Monje and his wife LTC (Ret) Dianne Monje to carry the AGCRA logo to as many exotic places as possible… so where in the world are they? Scroll down…
Nick and Dianne recently departed San Antonio, Texas for a two-week pilgrimage to Germany.
Nick (right) and Dianne hold up the AGCRA logos as MG (Ret) Charlie Fletcher, the Honorary Colonel of the Transportation Corps, holds the 1775 cover of “1775 is Back” in front of St. Boniface Cathedral in Fulda, Germany.
Here are Nick and Dianne at Kreuzber Monastery (a.k.a., atop Cross Mountain) where they had to climb 345 steps to get there.
Here are Nick and Dianne at the scenic Bischofsheim in der Rhon where they enjoyed delicious food and the best beer in the world made by the Franciscan monks.
Here are Nick and Dianne at the Kloster Ettal Abbey, which is a Benedictine monastery in the village of Ettal close to Oberammergau and Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Bavaria, Germany.
And finally, Nick and Dianne met up with COL (Ret) Mark A. Rado at the Marriott Frankfurt Airport, in Frankfurt, Germany on 7 July 2022. COL (Ret) Rado is an AG Corps Hall of Fame inductee, Class of 2018, and a Distinguished Member of the AG Corps.
OK, so now it’s your turn… take a photo of yourself with the AGCRA logo below at a unique location, be it CONUS or OCONUS, and send it to Newsletter@agcra.com and we’ll share it with our members.
