The AGCRA Chapter Recognition Program encourages consistent engagement and excellence across all AGCRA Chapters through an annual performance-based competition. The updated program is effective beginning Fiscal Year 2025 and replaces the 2022 version and Amendment 1 (2024).
Program Goals
Recognize and reward active, high-performing AGCRA Chapters.
Strengthen chapter continuity despite leadership turnover.
Preserve the legacy of the AGCRA through historical documentation and engagement.
Competitive Categories
Large Chapters (e.g., Fort Jackson, Fort Hood, JBLM, Fort Bragg)
Small Chapters (e.g., Fort Meade, Fort Sill, Fort Gordon, Redstone Arsenal)
Chapters may petition to change categories based on evolving demographics.
Awards
Chapter of the Year – $1,000
Runner-Up Chapter – $750
Significant/Notable Achievement – $500 (if awarded)
Most Improved Chapter – $250 (if awarded)
Awards are presented at the National AG Ball in Columbia, SC, typically held in May or June.
