Welcome to the All In! edition of 1775. This edition is important for several reasons - first, it marks the return of 1775 after almost two years. Secondly, it’s my first as Editor of 1775. But much more importantly, this edition marks a shift in how we will produce 1775 in the future.
Like many magazines today, we are going all digital. This way, we’ll be able to get the magazine to you quicker, and we’ll save our Association money, money that can be better spent on programs like college scholarships or emerging AGCRA programs.
As we work to be All In – supporting the AG Corps and the Association – with your help, we are working to get you a true professional journal. As you have likely seen, we’ve moved current operations to our email newsletter and our social media accounts.
Your professional journal will be pivoting to thought-provoking articles (such as those you see in our IPPS-A coverage in this issue), as well as historical items (the first of which is COL (Ret) Gary Gresh’s article discussing providing human resources in Desert Shield/Desert Storm).
