Welcome to the second digital-only edition of 1775. This Spring 2024 edition is dedicated to the role of the Adjutant General’s Corps around the Army.

As we put this edition together, we were mindful of two important points of emphasis from COL (Ret) Rob Manning, AGCRA President. First, the AGCRA is an inclusive organization – focused on the missions and needs of all its members.
Along that line, you’ll see articles in this edition about the Army Review Boards Agency and the Army Expeditionary Civilian Workforce. Both of these organizations are manned, in large part, by members of the AG Corps and have a significant AG mission – but are outside the normal AG limelight.

Secondly, COL (Ret) Manning continues to ask AG Soldiers, HR Civilians, Army Bands, and Retirees to tell their AG Story. The “Know your AGCRA Hall of Fame” series, which we started in this issue, is a step in that direction.

I am proud to see that more members of our Association are taking the time to write and submit articles for publication in 1775. Your professional journal will continue to improve – and we welcome your contributions as we together make 1775 the Professional Journal for Army Human Resources.

Shields Up! Defend and Serve!
