In honor of the Adjutant General's Corps' 250th Anniversary, the Human Resources Professionals of the 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command (ESC) led a multi-month celebration across Korea—highlighting the proud legacy, technological evolution, and enduring contributions of AG Soldiers to the U.S. Army.
The celebration began in March with an Educational Campaign throughout the 19th ESC Headquarters. The campaign highlighted specific historical milestones, including the establishment of the AG Corps in 1775 and its role in the Civil War, as well as technological advancements such as the implementation of the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A). These examples reinforced the critical role AG professionals have played in transforming Army HR support from the Revolutionary War to today's strategic, data-driven operations.
In April, AG professionals attended the Morning Calm Chapter AGCRA Annual Luncheon and Guided Museum Tour. These events, a testament to our shared history and camaraderie, blended fellowship with a historical deep dive into the AG Corps' past, fostering a professional identity, esprit de corps, and pride across the formation.
May focus on resilience and cohesion. The 19th ESC hosted an HR Resilience Day through the Warrior Adventure Quest program, where HR professionals engaged in high-adrenaline, team-building activities designed to strengthen trust, mental fitness, and morale across the team.
June marked a powerful conclusion to the 250th Anniversary celebration, with a series of capstone events that highlighted AG excellence across every echelon.

The month began with the AG Day Celebration, hosted by the Morning Calm Chapter at Camp Humphreys. The event featured spirited sports competitions such as kickball, a classic BBQ, and contagious esprit de corps. The 19ESC HR Professional's victory in the Commander's Cup Trophy, thanks to outstanding teamwork and energy, significantly boosted the team's morale. Chapter President SSG Oscar and Vice President SFC Alexander-Jackson led the planning with distinction, ensuring a memorable and meaningful experience for all.
Next, the 19th ESC joined together for Organizational Day, where the G1 section presented a well-received AG History Display Table, honoring 250 years of dedicated service, innovation, and impact by Army HR professionals.

The celebration continued with the 19ESC G1 hosting a professional development-focused 250th AG Corps Birthday Luncheon and Senior Leader Panel Discussion, a beacon of inspiration and learning, where HR and sustainment leaders from various echelons across the Korean Peninsula shared their leadership journeys, mentorship, and strategic insights with the next generation of AG and Sustainment professionals. The Panelist members were COL Arron Lummer (8A ACofS G1), SGM LaShan Hayes (8A G1 SGM), LTC James Wilburn (SOCKOR J1), LTC Yo-Han Kim (USFK J1 Personnel Readiness), CW2 Lee McCoy III (8A G1 Personnel Strength), CSM Elfonso Green (19ESC CSM), CSM Veronica Carter (498th CSSB BN CSM), SGM Woody Woodside (2ID Retention SGM).

The final event was the elegant 250th Morning Calm Sustainment Ball, held at the Inter Burgo Hotel in Daegu. This formal occasion brought together AG and sustainment professionals from across the peninsula to reflect on the Army's and Sustainment's rich history and bright future.
In a special highlight of the evening, LTC Jennette Brown received the Honorable Order of Saint Martin, a distinguished recognition presented by the Quartermaster Corps for her significant contributions to the sustainment community and her unwavering commitment to supporting Soldiers, units, and readiness across the theater.

As part of this historic milestone, the 19th ESC also marked a moment of transition—bidding farewell to its G1, LTC Jennette Brown, and Deputy G1, MAJ Mackenson Romulus, as they move on to new assignments. Their servant leadership, mentorship, and dedication have left a legacy within the HR enterprise and across the Korean theater.
From educational campaigns and resilience training to historical recognition and formal celebrations, the 19th ESC HR Team embodied the spirit and values of the AG Corps—honoring 250 years of "Defend and Serve" while shaping the Corps' future through excellence, leadership, and purpose.
To every AG Professional, past, present, and future, thank you for 250 years of courage, commitment, and care. Here's to continuing a legacy built on trust, driven by purpose, and ready for tomorrow. We are the shield behind the sword, the system behind the strategy, and the soul behind the service.
