What’s New at AGCRA: A Better Website Experience for Members

Featured image

Finding chapter guidance, connecting with Association leaders, and managing membership should be simple. Over the past 90 days, AGCRA has introduced several website improvements to make information easier to find and member services easier to use.

These updates support the everyday needs of members and chapter leaders, from navigating the website on a phone to finding awards instructions and receiving clearer event seating information. The video below highlights the changes and provides a closer look at the updated features.

Easier Navigation, Wherever You Connect

Related website links are now grouped under General, Membership, Programs, and Awards, helping visitors find the information they need more quickly.

Improvements to mobile navigation, keyboard access, and readability also make the website easier to use across devices and ways of navigating. Whether you are checking information on the go or working through chapter business at your desk, these changes help you move through the site with greater ease.

Chapter Guidance and Leadership Contacts in One Place

The Chapter Guidelines and public Organization Chart are now located under Association → General.

This places two useful resources in a common location, making it easier for chapter leaders and members to find organizational guidance and identify leadership contacts. Chapters can use this section as a starting point when looking for information to support their operations or connect with the Association.

Preparing for Online Awards Nominations

A new awards walkthrough explains the upcoming online nomination process and helps chapters prepare for the transition.

The online process is being introduced through a phased rollout. Chapters should continue using the current PDF nomination form during this transition. The walkthrough offers a preview of the developing process while the current form remains in use.

Clearer Chapter Membership Information

Chapter pages now distinguish between active membership totals and the number of members shown in the public directory.

These numbers may differ because members’ privacy choices affect whether they appear in the public directory. The updated presentation helps visitors understand that distinction while respecting each member’s preferences. It also gives chapter leaders clearer context when reviewing the information displayed on their pages.

Better Event Seating Information

Guests can receive seating notifications with clearer table and seat details, helping them understand their assignments before an event.

For gatherings with assigned seating, these notifications give attendees more useful information as they prepare to arrive and connect with fellow members.

Smoother Membership and Checkout Support

Updates to membership and checkout support make gift reassignment easier to manage. The website can also recover completed payments when checkout is reloaded, helping address situations in which a payment has gone through but the checkout page needs to be reopened.

These improvements support a smoother experience for members and those purchasing membership gifts.

Take a Look Around

We encourage members and chapter leaders to watch the video and explore the updated website. Visit Association → General to locate chapter resources, review the awards walkthrough, and take a look at the clearer information on your chapter page.

Thank you to the AGCRA IT team for continuing to improve the tools that connect our members, support our chapters, and serve the Association.
