The Sun City Chapter of AGCRA proudly partnered with the 1st Armored Division Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB) for a professional development and networking event focused on aviation operations, human resources leadership, and the critical role S-1 professionals play in sustaining readiness across the force. Hosted by the Iron Eagles and led by CPT Milan X. Warren, the event brought together AGCRA members, HR professionals, S-1 leaders, Soldiers, and aviation teammates to strengthen the connection between the Adjutant General's Corps mission and operational warfighting units.
Throughout the event, attendees gained firsthand insight into the people, platforms, and processes that enable Army aviation to generate combat power and support the division fight. The aviation showcase provided a unique opportunity to view aircraft and supporting equipment up close while learning how aviation units maintain mission readiness and execute operations in complex environments. The experience reinforced the direct link between personnel readiness, operational requirements, and the success of Soldiers and formations.

The event also highlighted the indispensable role of human resources professionals within aviation operations. From personnel accountability and strength management to evaluations, awards, casualty operations, and Soldier support, S-1 teams provide commanders with the information and resources needed to make informed decisions. By engaging directly with aviation leaders and Soldiers, attendees gained a deeper appreciation for how AG professionals contribute to mission command and overall unit effectiveness.
Beyond the aviation showcase, the event fostered meaningful opportunities for professional dialogue, mentorship, and collaboration. Participants exchanged best practices, discussed common challenges, and strengthened relationships across the Fort Bliss community. These conversations underscored the importance of cross-functional partnerships and demonstrated how AG professionals continue to support Soldiers, leaders, and families at every echelon.
The partnership between the Sun City Chapter and the 1st Armored Division Combat Aviation Brigade reflects the chapter's ongoing commitment to professional development, member engagement, and service to the military community. By connecting AG professionals with operational units, the event brought the AG Corps story to life through shared experiences and mutual understanding. The Sun City Chapter extends its sincere appreciation to the Iron Eagles for hosting an outstanding event that strengthened relationships, expanded professional knowledge, and reinforced the essential role of human resources support in enabling readiness and mission success.
