Chief Warrant Officer Five Charles T. Wigglesworth Leadership Award
Purpose: To recognize the Adjutant General Warrant Officer Course Warrant Officer who best emulates the leadership qualities embodied by CW5 Charles T. Wigglesworth during his more than 40 years of service to the AG Corps, the Army, and Nation.
Eligibility: Any Warrant Officer who is graduating from the Adjutant General 420A Warrant Officer Basic Course or the Warrant Officer Intermediate Course. Nominee does not need to be a Member of the Association.
Criteria: The Adjutant General School at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, establishes the standard and award criteria for selecting AG Warrant Officers for this award. The CW5 Charles T. Wigglesworth Leadership Award must be documented as part of the Individual Student Assessment Plan (ISAP) for the school.
History: Chief Warrant Officer Five Charles T. Wigglesworth served a 40‑year Army career culminating as the Deputy Commandant of the Warrant Officer Career College, where he played a central role in transforming the institution and shaping generations of Warrant Officers. Appointed as a Warrant Officer in 1984, he held assignments in Germany, multiple leadership and personnel roles within the Adjutant General Directorate at Fort Rucker, and later served as Administrative Assistant to the Commanding General and as a Professional Development Officer. After retiring from active duty, he became the Executive Director of the U.S. Army Warrant Officers Association, bringing his extensive experience and long-standing commitment to the Warrant Officer cohort.
Cost: To be borne by the Adjutant General’s Corps Regimental Association (AGCRA).
Recommending Procedures: Once the Adjutant General School has selected the AG Warrant Officer winners for this award, they will notify the AGCRA VP, Awards for award certificates and medal sets to be prepared for presentation.

Announcement of Awards: Award recipients will be published in “1775″ on the official AGCRA website.
Presentation of Awards: The medal and award certificate are presented at the graduation ceremonies of the Adjutant General WOBC and WOIC.
Recording of Awards: All awards will be recorded by entering the recipient’s rank and full name in the awards database maintained by the AGCRA VP, Awards.
Revocation of Awards: In the unlikely event that information becomes known that a fraudulent award has been made, or dishonorable conduct is substantiated, the National Executive Council can revoke this award, annotate the AGCRA database, and notify the individual of the action.
